Essie Weingarten built an empire on creating colors like Turks & Caicos and Bikini So Teeny (a personal fave). She lives and breathes nails, so it makes sense that her family would be all up in the nail biz, too. In an interview with Into the Gloss, Weingarten talks about how she got started her business more than 30 years ago with just $10,000. She sold the polish door-to-door before getting it into stores
