When it comes to my nails, I have three rules: They have to be short, squared, and anything but chipped. I prefer plain, bold colors, mostly because I do them myself and I often wear black, so a bright nail is the perfect way to add a pop of color. Nail stickers and decals were a thrill for me -- a cinch to use and the perfect way to create a fun, DIY look. Plus, by definition, they don't chip.
